"Meadow Surprises" is a poem written by Lois Brandt Phillips. It is a children's poem and is divided into six stanzas. The poem describes a meadow and tells us how it can be a source of surprises.

The poem is simple and self-explanatory. It is also picturesque in nature. The central theme of the poem is nature. The poet can be seen appreciating and admiring nature, especially its raw, wild, and unrestrained beauty.

Several animals, plants, and insects feature in the poem. Three of the six stanzas contain an object each around which the stanza revolves. They are:
  1. Butterfly
  2. Rabbit
  3. Dandelion
