ThemarksobtainedThetotalmarks=Percenatgeofmark(x)
Example:
Abi scored 411 marks out of 500 in the annual exam.

Now can you find out how much percentage did Abi scored in the annual exam?

Simply substitute the knowns value in the above formula, we can get the percentage of marks.

ThemarksobtainedThetotalmarks=Percenatgeofmark(x)411500=x%411500=x100411500×100=x41100500=xx=82.2
Therefore Abi scored 82.2 \(\%\) of marks in the annual examination.
