YaClass India has been registered as a company and launched its services for schools in several cities including Chennai, Delhi and Tiruchirapalli. During the launch, YaClass representatives visited principals, students and teachers at local schools, demonstrated the YaClass platform and explained the advantages of digital education and virtual learning.

YaClass also held a brief but productive meeting with the Tamil Nadu Education Minister, Mr-Sengotayan, along with education sector representatives from both the public and private sectors. Yaclass’ general manager explained to the minister how the platform helping students across Tamil Nadu and India. The minister was impressed and expressed his desire to bring the technology to remote schools in Tamil Nadu, with the other representatives agreeing to talk about the further implementation of YaClass. 

“We had a brief talk about YaClass and its operations. During the meeting, Delhi principals and teachers agreed to start a pilot project at their schools. In Tamil Nadu, YaClass received positive feedback regarding the overall system and product. Campion School’s Principal Mr-Soosairaj was eager to buy the solution for the whole school. Interest from other schools is very high and the platform looks very helpful and attractive for Indian teachers” said the General Manager of YaClass India Mr. Silambarasan Devraj.

Schools have started pilot projects with the YaClass platform in the following cities:

  • Delhi: Delhi Public Schools, Navodaya Schools, Vasant Valley, New Era Schools, Govt and Municipality Schools.

  • Chennai: Shriram Matriculation School, Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School, Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, RC Higher Secondary School,  Alfa Wisdom Vidyashram Senior Secondary School, Servite Mother House. 

  • Tiruchirapalli: Rajaji Vidhyalaya, St-Joseph Anglo-Indian Girls’ Higher Secondary School.

YaClass India plans further meetings with the education sector representatives and the Tamil Nadu education minister to discuss collaboration and to further establish relationships with schools in Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Trichy and Chennai. Further plans for collaboration include Educational Intionaties (EI) India, the Global Education Centre Telangana and with various branches of the Indian education system. Finally, YaClass plans give assistance to the ministry of  MHRD as well as opportunities to young entrepreneurs from across India.

YaClass is open for schools, motivated partners and investors to join in our journey to create better digital education for India. By the end of 2021 YaClass plans to succeed with 4 million registered students in Tamil Nadu.
